- Hello,
-
- could you please give a little more info like what controller do you have and
- specify your problem because it appears to me that you are experiencing two
- problems not just one.
-
- Bernoulli come pre-formatted like IDE hard drives. If this info is lost (not
- likely) you will need to re-format it with HDToolbox or some other such
- program that can issue the low-level format command to the drive. Each
- cartridge contiains RDB information that is vital to the workings of the
- system and if this is lost (magnetically erased, bulk erased) then the
- cartridge is unusable. Also the drive needs to be partitioned so that the
- DOS know what size it is and such, which can be done in HDToolbox as well.
- Assuming none of these is true and you have an icon just highlight the
- icon and select "Format Drive". If you are not getting an icon then you may
- not have the drive mounted.
-
- As far as the drive not responding after it has gone to sleep then I would
- say check your SCSI cards manual for info.
-
- I don't have any Bernoulli info here that shows a solution but another option
- is to log into Iomegas BBS and request some info there maybe about jumper
- settings for the B- 150.
-
- My B-150 works flawlessly unless I booted without a cartridge inserted, in
- which case the device is never mounted. Something I could fix by making a
- mount file for it.
